Rolling her eyes, Juni dug her phone out
[sms sent]: I’m right here dunderhead.
She stared at him, not bothering to put her phone away and hoped that he’d be clever enough to get the idea. Knowing the Doctor however it might take a few gos, though she thought with a smirk.
His phone went off and he clicked through it.

He turned slowly and looked back at the girl he couldnt recognize. “J-juni?” He said quietly as he looked at her. He carefully looked into her eyes and realized it was here. “Wha-what happened?”
“Yo, yo daddy-o,” Juni smirked and put her phone away rubbing her neck at his shock, . “Same thing that happens to everyone when you’re not around, I grew up.” she said, clenching her fists in her coat. “I dunno how long it’s been for you, but, it’s been forty-four years, five months, eleven day and six hours since I was on the Tardis last.” She glanced down at herself and shrugged, “Had a run-in with some Judoon. Had to do some quick body work after.” she explained, rocking back on her heels.
“Only 44?” He said with a chuckle. “115 for me.” He shrugged. “Time flies I suppose.”
“You would know,” Juni joked, shoving her hands into her pockets. “You look good, mum’d approve, I think.” she stared at him a bit longer and looked away, “So..how’ve you been gettin’ on?”
“Barely sleeping, hard to focus, mind all over the place,” He chuckled slightly. “Same as always.” He grinned and looked at her, “How about you?”
“Alright, I guess.” Juni shrugged. “Lots happened. Johnny thinks Gran’s developing Alzheimer’s. Uncle Tony’s got cancer. James hasn’t popped home in years.” She cracked a weary smile at him, “Well, not so alright then, but you know, stuff happens.”
She digs out a cigarette and lights it. “Oh, got trapped in another parallel universe for awhile too. Met a man called the Master. That was a riot, you know, got to watch a dictator in action.”
“Yeah, he’s…different.” He chuckled slightly. “Those aren’t good for you,” He said pointing to the cigarette. “So, why the change of face?” He pointed up and down.
“No, wait, I’m not sure we’re talking about the same man.” Juni said giving him an odd look. “The Master was the sweetest man I’d ever met. Well, sweet in his own way, I had to cow him into doing any saving people stuff, but once you got him going…” Juni laughed tugging her earlobe, “Man we were dicks on some planets, fucking around with rituals, and sacrifices, but, he was..I really…” She shook her head not looking at him. “Then we went back to Earth, and….everything was leveled to the ground. It was 2018, but nothing was there anymore, bodies littered the streets, factories were filled with child orphans.” She shuddered. “The Master and I were immediately apprehended by the new authorities, and brought before a man called the Valeyard. We were his prisoners for years.”
Juni shuddered the cigarette perched between her lips and hugged herself. “He killed the Master multiple times, made him regenerate, and tortured him and made me watch sometimes. He knew I was a part TimeLord. It made him mad to even see me, but-” Juni squeezed her eyes shut, “the worst part is what he did to mum. he kept her like a pet, on a chain and leash, beat her, made her torture prisoners.” She shuddered. “He drover her insane. She literally, just couldn’t hang on one day, and killed herself there in this grand dinning room. I watched the noose snap her neck as she hung form the chandelier. That was the day he killed me.”
